Welcome to the Department of Education Schools Directory

This directory allows you to search for information about State schools, Non-state schools and Department of Education (DoE) Organisation units within Queensland.

Non-state schools include those that are not administered by the government and are affiliated with Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC) or Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ). Boarding schools fit within this category. A link also shows on the Non-state schools (tab) to the Non-State Schools Accreditation Board's DirectoryGo to Non-State Schools Accreditation Board's Directory page for additional information.

A link for the Early Childhood website is also available on the Home screen.

The directory includes information about Schools that are ‘Open’, as well as some limited information about schools that are ‘Approved Future Centres’. These are Schools approved to open but not yet fully operational.

Note that state schools that have ‘Closed’ are not included, but a link to the Register of Recent School Openings, Closures and Name Changes is included on the Home screen.

Searches are not case sensitive, so it does not matter whether you use upper or lower case, or any combination e.g. Brisbane, brisbane, BRISBANE, brisBane.
