Help

This directory allows you to search for information about state schools, non-state schools and Department of Education and Training (DET) organisation units within Queensland.

Non-state schools include those that are not administered by the government, including those affiliated with the Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC), the Christian Schools Australia (CSA) or the Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ). Boarding schools fit within this category. A link also shows on the Non-state schools (tab) to the Non-State Schools Accreditation Board's Directory.

Links are also available for the TAFE and Early Childhood websites on the Help (tab).

The directory includes information about centres that are ‘Open’, as well as some limited information about schools that are ‘Approved Future Centres’ and are approved to open but not yet fully operational.

Note that state schools that have closed are not included, but a link to the Register of Recent School Openings, Closures and Name Changes is also included on the Help (tab).

Searches are not case sensitive, so it does not matter whether you use upper or lower case, or any combination e.g. Brisbane, brisbane, BRISBANE, brisBane.

Clicking on the Download button on the results returned page will populate an excel spreadsheet with the returned results.
